How Lego play can be therapeutic

As school children across our area break-up for Summer we hear how Herne Junior School pupils took to the stage at Petersfield's Community Fair.

The school choir includes pupils from years four, five and six.

They performed a set of positive uplifting pop songs Try Everything, You can Count on Me, The Climb and Proud.

The children belted-out these tuneful favourites from the biggest mobile stage ever seen in Petersfield. It was the centrepiece of the fair held at Churcher's College.

We hear from choir members Ellie, Ellen, Eloise and Lara. Hear their reactions as they step off-stage and up to the Shine Radio microphone.

The children are introduced by the choir leader, teacher Miss Clare Morphew. They are speaking to Stephen Martin.

A musical highlight for Herne Junior pupils

Heartstart Meon Valley attended the Petersfield Community Fair to help educate us on the importance of heart health and how to resusitate.

Steve and Gerald are volunteers with the charity. They train adults and school children locally.

They also dispel concerns people have about using a defibrillator and help us understand where to find one when you need it most.
